Peer Mediation Cool Schools
Every year a group of senior students are trained in the ‘Cool Schools’ Peer Mediation programme.
This programme teaches them skills in listening, questioning and conflict resolution. Each day the trained mediators are on duty in the playground to support students and to help ensure the school playground is a safe, happy and peaceful place to be.

Restorative Practice
Restorative Practice is a relational approach to managing school life grounded in beliefs about equality, dignity, mana and the potential of all people.
Our Restorative Practice model focuses on building and maintaining positive, respectful relationships across the school community. By building and maintaining positive, respectful relationships within a school, staff to staff, staff to student and student to student, issues are more easily managed.
