Out of Zone

Do you live outside our school zone?

OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENT:

Enrolment at our school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office or our website.

Limited out of zone places are usually available to students who live outside the Victoria Avenue School zone.

Each year the School Board will determine the number of places which are likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of students who live outside the School zone.

Places are offered to applicants according to their priority group, and then according to their position on the waiting list generated by the ballot. Priority groups are prescribed by legislation and set out in our Enrolment Scheme.

Parents of students who live within the home zone should also apply by this date to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year.

The board has determined that 65 places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students next year. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.

If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on Wednesday, 23 October 2024. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
